Sofie Open Live Gateway
sofie-tsr-open-live is a TSR plugin for Sofie Automation that lets Sofie drive an Open Live production over Open Live’s controller WebSocket using the 1.x automation control contract. In practice, it translates Sofie timeline objects into concrete Open Live commands for program and preview switching, DSK and graphics toggling, audio level/mute changes (with optional ramps), clip cue/play/pause/stop, on-air control, and fade-to-black. It also handles reconnects by waiting for the HELLO/SNAPSHOT sequence, resetting to the state Open Live reports, and then only sending the differences—plus keep-alives and command ACK/NACK tracking so Sofie can surface command errors.
As a managed service on Eyevinn Open Source Cloud (OSC), you can provision it without building and operating your own playout gateway image and runtime. The gateway connects out to Sofie Core and to Open Live (no inbound ports required), and OSC mode authentication is supported via exchanging your PAT for a SAT and using the osc.bearer subprotocol—so you can run it in the same environment as the rest of your OSC services while keeping configuration in Sofie where it belongs (Open Live URL, production ID, and token in device settings).
