flyimg

An application that allows you to resize, crop, and compress images on the fly. By default, Flyimg generates the AVIF image format (when the browser supports it) which provides superior compression compared to other formats. Additionally, Flyimg also generates the WebP format, along with the impressive MozJPEG compression algorithm to optimize images, other formats are supported also such as PNG and GIF.

Deploy flyimg on Open Source Cloud

  1. Web console: press Launch above, sign in, name the instance and create it.
  2. Command line: with your personal access token in OSC_ACCESS_TOKEN, run npx -y @osaas/cli@latest create flyimg-flyimg myinstance. Add -o Key=Value for any required settings.
  3. Your AI agent: connect it to the OSC MCP server at https://mcp.osaas.io/mcp and ask: “Create an instance of flyimg on Open Source Cloud and give me its URL.” How to connect

One running flyimg instance uses 10 tokens a day. The free Basic plan's 100 one-time tokens run it for about 10 days. On Personal (40 tokens a day) one instance runs continuously.

Open source, no lock-in

flyimg is built from the open source project at github.com/flyimg/flyimg. You can run the same project on your own infrastructure or another cloud whenever you want, and take your data with you.
