Grist Core

Grist is a modern relational spreadsheet server: it gives you a familiar spreadsheet UI, but with database-style tables and typed columns, plus formulas that recalculate automatically when data changes. In grist-core you get Python formulas (including standard library support and many Excel-style functions), dashboards with linked widgets (charts, cards, calendars, summary tables), imports/exports (CSV, Excel, Google Drive, and Airtable import), a REST API with an interactive API console, webhooks, access rules down to rows/columns/tables, collaboration features like comments and suggestions, and a portable document format based on SQLite. As an Eyevinn Open Source Cloud managed service, you can provision Grist without standing up Docker hosts, wiring persistence volumes, or maintaining config and upgrades yourself. You get a ready-to-use Grist endpoint quickly, while still building on the Apache-licensed grist-core codebase and its documented configuration options. Using Grist on OSC also means it fits alongside your other OSC services: you can treat it as a managed component in your stack, while your team focuses on building documents, APIs, and integrations rather than operating the server and its surrounding infrastructure.
